“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you."

Many years ago, I heard a song by various artists from Jamaica, entitled Rise Up! The chorus said, It's time to rise up, Stand and take your place (rise up) Shine like the sun (rise up ) Your journey has just begun, Rise up (rise up) Stand like the brave (oh yeah) Rule your destiny, Be the best that you can be.

While it was not a biblical song, the chorus was inspiring enough for you to wake up and arise! Saints, our journey has just begun, and it's time to arise in God. While it says, shine like the sun, the truth is that darkness is coming to the Earth for those who can see, but the truth is that the glory of the Lord wants to shine in your life. 

We need to transform ourselves and become the light, there is an assignment on our lives to become the light.

Will you arise from your slumber? Will you arise and follow our Lord Jesus? Do not fall victim to this world, this Earth is not our home. Now, tune in to today's program as we go back to the book of Isaiah 60.
